Okay.

#1-"When you take the minerals out of the water you end up with an acidic pH." It is a myth that distilled water is "acidic". Because distilled water is so pure, if not stored in an airtight container, it is possible over time to absorb a very low amount of CO2, (carbon dioxide), from the surrounding air. This may cause the results of a ph test to appear acidic. But the reason for this is that because everything, (either alkaline and acidic) has been eliminated from the water, only a very minuscule amount of any acidic substance, (from the surrounding air for example), will cause a ph scale reading to appear acidic. (A ph scale does not measure how much acid is in water, as it only measures the relative amount of acid vs. alkali.) It is very difficult if not impossible to quantify how much actual acid is contained in distilled water because of this, but it is very safe to say that it is a very, very low amount. So even though a ph reading of distilled water may appear to be a little on the acidic side, the actual amount of acidic substances in distilled water is far less than what is contained in a regular glass of tap water.

#2-"The believers in pure water distillers say you can take mineral supplements to counter effect the fact that you took the minerals out of your water. That doesn't make practical sense to me." The truth is that we get 95% of the minerals we need from the foods we eat, not the water we drink. It is not sensible to get a very small amount of minerals from our drinking water by also consuming all of the bad minerals and other pollutants and contaminates contained in drinking water. It is like saying, "Go eat a handful of dirt from your backyard because it might also contain a few good minerals." People who say that you need to get minerals from your drinking water are uninformed to put it kindly.

#3-"First, why should I buy a product to put something into my body when I could have just as easy left it in by filtering my water instead of using a pure water distiller? And second, are the minerals supplements I buy as good of a choice as what nature has put into my water naturally?"
Because the "something" you are leaving in the water is NOT all good minerals, far from it. There is all kinds of crap in it. It's not "nature" that is polluting the water. It is man-made pollutants that is also left in the "filtered" water.

#4-"I believe if we drink de-mineralized water it will pull the minerals out of my body to balance itself." You "believe" wrong. It has been scientifically proven that distilled water does not "pull minerals out" of your body. I'll be happy to provide it.

#5-"This water treatment system will take out all the harmful substances and leave the good natural minerals in." Firstly, the system you are referring to does NOT "take out ALL the harmful substances..." etc. Secondly, it does NOT "leave only "the good natural minerals in". It helps, but it does not compare with a water distillation system. No other method is as effective as distillation. None.
